Hobbit - This is the rank of all new members. Benefits include 10g repair per day.

Tolkien Lore: Hobbits are one of the youngest races in middle earth, not well known amongst the big folk, though end up playing a large role in future events.

Rohirrim (Leveling, Social) -  Achieved after 30 days in the guild, active at the end of 30 days, and Guild Rep of at least Revered. This rank can also be earned by being a supporting guild member.  Support includes active guild chatter, particaption in guild activities, and donations to the guild bank. Benefits include 50g repair per day and access to 3 items per tab of the first two bank tabs.

Tolkien Lore: The army of Rohan, men in middle earth, fighting for their homes. Though not the strongest of armys, without them Middle Earth would have been destroyed.

Istari (Wise One)- This rank is given to long term supporting members of the guild. Continued guild activity for a minimum of 6 months is required for this rank. Benefits include 75g repair per day and access to the first 2 guild bank tabs at 8 items per tab.

Tolkein Lore: The Istari were wizards, or wise ones. The wizards already appeared old when they entered Middle-earth. They were "clothed" in the bodies of old Men, as the Valar wished them to guide the inhabitants of Middle-earth by persuasion and encouragement, not by force or fear.

Rangers (Casual Raider) This position is given to casual raiders who cannot make all raids but have demonstrated sufficient expertise on their toons and raid mechanics. Benefits include: 100g repair per day, access to the first two bank tabs at 4 items per tab, and access to the raider tab at 1 item/day.

Tolkien Lore: Rangers were the last remnant of the Dunedain, and they were quick, versatile, and experienced riders. Characteristically elusive and enigmatic, the Rangers spent most of their lives in the wild, visiting towns and villages only on rare occasions.

 Dunedain(Raider Rank) This position is given to the Core team Raiders. Benefits include: 200g repair per day, access to the first two bank tabs at 5 items per tab, and access to the raider tabs at 2 items/day.

Tolkien Lore: Dunedain are the rangers of the north, descended from the blood of Númenor. They were descendants of the elffriend, and loved by the Elves. Their most well known leader? Aragorn.

 Maiar - (Retired Officer) - This rank is for players just getting started as an officer. It is up to an election to get this rank. Benefits include 150g repair per day, access to the first two guild bank tabs at 6 items per tab, and access to the two raider tabs at 2 items per day.
Tolkien Lore: The Maiar, the people of the Valar, and their helpers. They are of the same order as the Valar but of less degree.

Ainur - (First level of Officers) .  It is up to an election to get this rank. Benefits include 150g repair per day and access to all guild bank tabs at 6 items per tab.

Tolkien Lore: The Ainur, the Holy Ones  were the first and mightiest beings created by Eru Illuvitar in the depths of time before the beginning of the World.

Valar - (Seasoned Officer)- This position requires great responsibility and good standing in the guild. It is up to an election to get this rank. Benefits include 200g repair per day and access to all guild bank tabs at 10 items per tab. It is also at this level that officers can remove people from the guild.

Smaug (Lt. GM and alts of GM) - This position has same responsibilities and benefits as Valar, with an increase in items per tab.

Tolkien Lore: Smaug the dragon was well known for his hoard of treasure. Smaug was intimately familiar with every last item within his hoard, and instantly noticed the theft of a relatively inconsequential cup by Bilbo Baggins
